Burble Bup is the winner of City of Dreams Pavilion 2011 from the FIGMENT organization in Governors Island, New York. A secret hideout for the summer where users can rest, climb, play or just small talk over its soil mounds, enjoying the shadows and colors reflected from its inflatable canopy. It is hard to understand how the minds of the main architects of the Bittertang team works, but as usual, the projects from the design farm are always pieces of materialized magic and Burble Bup is no exception. It combines childhood games, mirth, colors and smells of any child's playground memories, and this is what makes it so special, as we all reborn the kid that we have inside. Its nature is to fuse with its environment, the walls are made of soil filled fabric tubes which are seeded with grass that grows gradually, merging with its context.
