Cloud's Skin. Complex system created by 9 perforated layers.

Because of the simplicity of the project objective, my partner (Victor Sánchez) and I, decided to design an office that could mimic the complexity of the clouds that are reflected on the crystal curtain of the existing building. The challenge was to understand the ephemeral forms, colors and gradients of the cloud. It was resolved by analyzing the climate patterns and creating conditions out of them. This dictated the new patterns that were followed by a script to generate the desired densities and layers that create the materiality of the parasite office.
CONCEPT: Explode the physical and visual elements of the existing building through the search of a complex materiality. Starting from a simple module to create an object/space where it could respond to the needs of the user and the environment conditions, in order to obey at its ephemeral state.
